She was predeceased by: her parents, Dee Strawder and Mary Gladys Pierce Strawder; her former husband Ronald Zelinski; her sister Debra Waldron; and her close friend Louise Harris.
She is survived by: her fiancé Richard Brittingham of Edenton; her daughter Laura Fortney; her grandchildren, Talitha Fortney (Cardell) and Thomas "T. J."; her great grandchild ZarraDawn Soffia Fortney-Osborne of Elkins, WV; her siblings, Thelma Motz of Magnolia, OH and Dee Strawder, Jr. of Charleston, WV; her nephew Ralph Motz of North Canton, OH; and her close friend Richard. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
