He was predeceased by: his parent William E. Bond, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Emma Pruden Bond; his wife Jewel Farmer Bond; his daughters, Sherry Porter (Richard) of Richmond, VA and Beverly White (Owen) of Raleigh; his siblings, Harriet Mitchener of Winston-Salem and Linwood Bond of Edenton; his grandchildren, Walt Porter, Bennett Porter, Darden White, John O'Leary, Katie Abbott and Ezzi Abbott; and also, Leah Abbott and Beth O'Leary.
