He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Hubert Berry and Louise Hicks Berry. He is survived by: his wife Janet Norman Berry; his sons, Carl Berry (Jennifer) and Mike Berry; his brother George Benny Berry (Susie); and his grandsons, Adam Berry (Olivia) and Spencer Berry.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A reception was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
