Cecilia Cartwright Austin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecilia Cartwright Austin (Elizabeth City, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwyn Cartwright and Elva Cartwright. She is survived by: her children, Carl Austin (Cheila) of Elizabeth City and Kimberly Parrish (Tom Green) of Coinjock; and her grandchildren, Cille, Garrett, Hannah and Shelby. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (200 S McMorrine St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
