She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Giles and Emma Giles; her husband John D. Shealy; her sister Thelma Janice Giles; and her stepchildren, John Daryl Shealy and Patricia Shealy Church.
She is survived by: her sons, Vernon William Stewart, Jr. (Judy Dye), Gregory Alan Stewart (Donna) of South Mills, NC and David Roy Stewart (Kim) of Minnesott Beach, NC; her stepdaughters, Cheryl Shealy Davis of Norfolk, VA and Cindy Shealy Edwards (Steve) of Smithfield, VA.; and her grandchildren, Cory Bourgeois, Rachel Cantu' (Ryan), Lydia Ewonus (Jake), Crystal Carawan, Amanda Mitchell, Stewart Davis (Christina), Jeremy Davis (Tiana), Ashley Edwards, Brooke Gross (Wesley), Kimberly Dail (Steve), Laura Church and Jeff Church.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rosewood Memorial Park (631 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462).
