He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Brickhouse (Gertie Scott Brickhouse) and Kathleen Ownley Brickhouse; his wife Kathleen; and his siblings, Gladys Brumback, Virginia White, Audrey Nash, Clara Brickhouse, Harold Brickhouse, Norman Brickhouse and Marvin Brickhouse.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Brickhouse Fearing and Kevin Leon Brickhouse (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Christopher Ross Fearing, Katie Fearing Woodhouse (Tyler), Colin Leon Brickhouse and Connor Scott Brickhouse.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church, 700 N. Road St., Elizabeth City, NC.
