It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Swaim of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Neolia "Penny" Dozier Swaim; his parents, Gus Swaim and Annie Rook Swaim; his stepmother Luella Swaim; and his brother Ois Swaim.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Ricky E. Lloyd (Linda) of Moyock, NC and Larry D. Swaim of Nashville, NC; his grandchildren, Mitchell Lloyd (Lee Ann) and Aubrey Swaim; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Harper Lloyd; and his nieces, Annette Swaim and Carol Jean Leake.
