With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry John Pavlak Jr. of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry John Pavlak and Mary Koplinka Pavlak. He is survived by: his wife Florence Adam Pavlak; his children, Susan Ann Pavlak of New York and John David Pavlak (Ariel) of Oregon; his sister Patricia Mann (James) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Justin, Christopher, Nicole and Wolfgang; and his great grandchild Jada.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
John's contributions to his field and the lives he touched will be remembered with deep admiration and respect.
