He is survived by: his children, Wendy Lee Channell of Elizabeth City, NC and Frederic Channell (Julie) of Lumberport, WV; his grandchildren, Carissa Napier, McKenzie Channell, Bethany Hess, Lesta Hess and Devin Hess; and his great grandchild Harper May Napier.
