He is survived by : his children, Donna Drew (Carlton) of Columbia, SC, Lolita Morris Pate (Roy) of Willow Springs, NC and Michael Morris, Jr. (Yuvanka) of Elizabeth City, NC; and his sister Edrey Billups of Elizabeth City, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
