With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Newton Robert Carper II (Elizabeth City, North Carolina), born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his mother Ruth Lee Carper; his grandparents, Dan R., Gladys S. McClenney, Homer Payne and Beulah E. Carper; and his siblings, Dan, Gary and Debra.
He is survived by : his father Newton Robert Carper, Sr.; his wife Brenda; his aunt Dana M. Strew; his brother Randall K. Carper; his daughter Charlotte E. Ross (Randy); his grandson Cameron Ross; and his friend Anna. He is also survived by five nieces, three nephews and multiple cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27907).
