She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Harris and Hazel Laurenda Cartwright Harris; her husband Donald Lee Kiewert; and her siblings, Preston Harris, Louise Felton, Doris Leedom, Garland Ray Harris, Raymond Harris, Jean H. Wilson and Donnie Paul Harris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Roberts (Steve) of Goldsboro, NC and Kimberly Fenton (Tim) of Hertford, NC; her brother Bobby Harris (Sharon) of Weeksville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Dixon Roberts and Cale Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
