It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Fredrick Bilger of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bilger and Helen Jane Bilger (Haus); and his grandson Kaleb Bilger. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kaye Woolridge Bilger; his children, Melissa Bilger and Richard Bilger II; his brother Charles "Buck" Bilger; his grandchildren, Richard Sauls, Emily Moore, Jolena Murphy, Layla Bilger, Richard Bilger III and Zenith Bilger; and his great grandchildren, Raelynn Bilger and Cincere Wilson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Twiford Memorial Chapel (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
