He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo Richards Chivers; his daughters, Mikaleen Jo Chivers and Shara Danae Chivers; his grandchildren, Harley Annine Chivers, Luca Danae Brothers and Lenin Roger Plata; his siblings, Sandy Corrigan and Rick Chivers; and his in-laws, Charlotte Conner, Diana Brancker, Bob Richards and Gary Richards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
