She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Autry and Pearl Pervine Autry; her daughter Tiffany Diann Meares; and her siblings, Dewitt Autry, Delma Lee Moore and Viola Wiggins.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Thompson; her son Dwayne Thompson; her grandson Jordan Meares; her great grandchildren, Adelea Meares and Diana Meares; and her siblings, Sara White, Mary Jane Howell, Melba Atkins and Bob Autry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Center Baptist Church (19894 NC-131 Hwy, Bladenboro, NC 28320).
