With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Ussery (Elizabethtown, North Carolina), who passed away on April 6, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ernest and Annie McRae Ussery; his former wife Lottie Mae Croom Ussery; his daughter Vivian Carlee Ussery; and his wife Sarah Nichols Rush Ussery.
He is survived by: his grandson Scott Ussery (Vanessa); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Elise, Lydia, Simon, Gabriel and June; his children, Robert M. Ussery, Jr. (Sylvia) of High Point, NC, Harvey Ussery (Ellen) of Hume, VA, Steve Ussery of Wilmington, NC and Jean Ussery of Raleigh, NC; and his brother Thomas "Tommy" H. Ussery of Cordova, NC.. He is also survived by three other grandchildren and four other great-grandchildren.
