For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nash Winton Hester and Velma Britt Hester. She is survived by: her brother Nash W Hester Jr. (Candace) of Elizabethtown; her niece Melissa Hester; her great-nephew Brantley Jernigan; her niece Santana Rice; and also Frances Ramsay-Walton. She is also survived by cousins and friends who were like brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3131 M. L. K. Dr, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Bladen Memorial Gardens (5381 NC-242, Elizabethtown, NC 28337).
