It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Gene Brindle of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Brindle and Cassie Jones Brindle; and his siblings, Johnny Gray Brindle, Ernestine Chatman, Paulette Hooker and Clarine Hutson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wood Brindle; his siblings, Donnie Ray Brindle (Brenda) of Yadkinville and Faye Fletcher of Boonville; and his sisters-in-law, Paula Pratt (Jerry) of Dobson and Penny Wood of State Road. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
