He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Byrce Brown, Sr. and Marie Brown Norman; and his son Byron Lee Brown. He is survived by: his children, Charles Michael Brown (Amy) of Elkin, Shannon Marie Layell (Keith) of Thurmond and Melissa Caudill (Jackie) of Thurmond; and his sister Tonia Brown Spicer (Larry) of Elkin. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and his beloved canine companion, Buddy.
Burial will follow in Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery.
