He is survived by: his son Chris Thompson of North Wilkesboro; his siblings, Doughton Thompson (Pat) of State Road, Johnny Thompson (Elaine) of Robbins, NC and Doris Ann Wagoner (Harold) of Hamptonville; his grandchild Avery Thompson; his stepgrandchild Jamie Kilby (Austin); and his stepgreat-granddaughter Olivia Kilby. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
