We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2021, at the age of 102, Maude Billings Brown (Elkin, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harrison and Flora Lyon Billings; her husband Lonnie Brown; her daughter Flora Emalene Brown; her siblings, Claude Billings, Garland Billings, Marvin Billings, Cannie Rhymer, Lala Speaks, Pearl McGee and Lessie Miller; and her grandson Richard Scott Luffman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Lyon of Clemmons, NC and Pat Luffman (Dicky) of State Road, NC; her grandson Tony Smith (Ann) of State Road, NC; her great grandchild Tyler Smith (Gina) of State Road, NC; and her great great grandchild Noah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Ln, Suite 201, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
