He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Jean Wiggins Joyner; and his parents, Luther Joyner and Effie Joyner. He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Pittman (Hardy) and Mary Lois Stancil (Greg); his grandchildren, Matthew Stancil (Allison), Daniel Stancil (Amber) and Kasey Pittman West (Noah); his great grandchildren, Ellington Stancil, Delton Stancil, Weston Stancil, Jameson Stancil and West; and his siblings, Velma Winstead of Elm City and Chessel Joyner of Florida.
