She is survived by : her children, Ricky Cooke of Rocky Mount and Sonia Cooke Shearin of Nashville, TN; her granddaughter Charlie K. Parker of Nashville, TN; and her siblings, D. O. Simmons (Helen) of Rocky Mount, Jack Simmons of Rocky Mount and Judy S. Walston of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
