She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Octavius Bryant Wynne and Ruth King Tippette; her husband Edward Louis Garris; her children, Rodney Octavius Garris, Edward Louis Garris, Jr. (Pam), William Lewis Garris, II (Lisa) and Cindy Garris Amerson (Walter); her grandchildren, Patrick Shepherd, Walter Amerson, Jr., Jennifer Holmes (Sam), Trey Garris (Casey), Joshua Garris (Maygen), Riley Garris, Robin Joyner, Bonnie Garris and Ricky Garris; and her siblings, William Dodson Tippette and Betty Bryant Price. She was also cherished by sister-in-law, Hazel Weeks; and many nieces and nephews.
