He is survived by : his children, Alvester Chance, III (Tawanna) of Cameron, Alton D. Chance of Dunn and LaTonya McLean of Dunn; his sisters, Patricia Dixon Shaw (Ollie) of Dunn, Stevette Godwin of Dunn, Jacqueline Woods of Lillington, Dorothy Burnett (Gary) of Erwin and Tamette Batts (Bobby) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Ty'Mear, A'Nyla McKoy-Chance, Ahmod D. Chance, Dazia McLean and Azabeond Jones; and his friend Brandy Lee.
