She was predeceased by : her husband David A. Byrd, Jr.; and her siblings, Prentis Moore, John Thurman Moore, Shelton Moore, Gardner Moore and Leontine Allen.
She is survived by : her children, Phil Byrd of Benson and Donna Wood (Dale) of Four Oaks; and her grandchildren, Kevin Byrd, Melissa Ball, Kasie Lee and Patrick Wood. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Red Hill Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital Services have been entrusted to West and Dunn Funeral Home of Erwin, NC.
