He is survived by: his wife Reva McClure; his children, Anthony "Tony" McClure (Jewel) of Etowah and Michelle Smith (Michael) of Brentwood, TN; his grandchildren, Caitlin Law (Jared) of Maryville, TN and Ian Smith of Nashville, TN; his great grandchild Allen Law; and his sisters, Ruth Webb of Henderson County, NC, Mildred Souther of Henderson County, NC and Joan Allison of Henderson County, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital (Clown Unit).
