She was predeceased by: her husband Aubrey June Waddell, Jr.; and her daughter Julia "Bugsy" Louise Waddell. She is survived by: her daughter Helen Ayres Waddell Nygaard of Rowland, N. C.; her grandchildren, Rachel Juliana Nales Pittman (Matthew) of Wilson, N. C., Robert Allen Nales of Wilson, N. C. and Tanner Hansen Nygaard of Rowland, N. C.; her great grandchild Juliana Brooks Pittman; her nieces, Marilyn Waddell Agnew (John), Carol W. Ellerbe (Tom), Sara Joyce and Nancy J. Rowen (Chris); her great-niece Elizabeth of Becca; her great-nephew Thomas; her friend Jim Dotson; Carolyn W. Waddell and Martha "Cricket" Joyce.
