She was predeceased by: her parents, George David Strickland and Kathleen Britt Strickland; and her sister Betty Faye Strickland Jones. She is survived by: her son Christopher G. (Amy Howell) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Beckham G. Howell of Raleigh and Shelby G. Howell of Raleigh.
