It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simon Herring Jr. (Fair Bluff, North Carolina), who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Sutton Herring Sr. and Pattie Connor Herring; his wife Margaret Ellis Herring; and his sons, Gerald and Ronnie.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeanne "Cricket" Britt (Johnny); his sister Edna; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Sunshine, Lindsey "Punkin" Willis, Jonathan "Peeper" Britt and Amber "Bubbles" Adelman. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
