We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2021, at the age of 84, Delaine Byrd Hardin of Fairmont, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Luther Byrd and Thelma Tolar Byrd; her husband P. R. Hardin; her son Jerry Hardin; and her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Williams, James Carroll Byrd and Thomas Harold Byrd.

She is survived by: her son Ronnie L. Hardin; her sisters-in-law, Faye Hardin of Elizabethtown, NC and Rose Herring of Lumberton, NC; and her close friend Fran Leggett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: Proctorville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 40, Proctorville, NC 28375.
