He was predeceased by: his parents, Jetter Wilton Lewis and Mary Winton Brady Lewis; his son Stan Lewis; his sister Ann Bessent-Bloust; and his niece Mariellen Bessent.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Anne Lewis; his children, Steve Lewis (Cindy) and Marianne Leggett (Kenny); his grandchildren, Kiley Grace (Zach), Layne Dupree (Dawson), Jett Lewis and Slate Lewis; and his great grandchild Harrison Grace.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (606 Church St, Fairmont, NC 28340). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Marietta Cemetery.
