She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Marcellus Spivey and Mary Redmon; and her husband James Clell Biggs. She is survived by : her children, Dena Biggs Wilson (Jerry) of Fairview, Steve Biggs of Fairview and Mark Biggs (Sharon) of Fairview; and her brother Samuel Murray Spivey of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church.
