We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2021, at the age of 92, Betty Buckner of Fairview, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Romanza Brown and Carolyn Elizabeth Black; and her husband Arnold R. Buckner. She is survived by : her daughters, Sharon Canter (David) of Fairview, NC, Lynne Bolick (Bryan) of Asheville, NC and Anita Townsend (Mike) of Lexington, NC; her siblings, Sam Brown (Elaine) of Taylors, SC, Janice Penland of Swannanoa, NC and Joyce Moore of Clarksville, TN; and her grandchildren, Tim Canter (Allison) of New Hill, NC, Jeremy Canter (Joni) of Spartanburg, SC, Ashley Wilson (Jarrett) of Crane, MO and Lindsey Edwards of Charlotte, NC.

The family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to Samaritan's Purse at P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
