She was predeceased by : her parents, Winifred H. Hawkins and Fannie B. Parton Hawkins; and her brothers, Gene, Tom and Bobby Hawkins.

She is survived by : her daughter Tracey Lockhart (Ricky) of Asheville; her granddaughter Heather Ammons of Kansas City, KS; and her siblings, Ruth Walston, Betty Sampson and Micky Hawkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hominy Baptist Church, 135 Candler School Road, Candler, NC 28715.
