She was predeceased by : her parents, Garland Pollard and Dora Pollard of Fountain, NC; and her siblings, Garland Jr., Gary, Bobby Pollard, Irene Walston and Claudia Hardy.
She is survived by : her husband Robert Jones; her daughters, Janet Smith (Todd) of Greenville, NC and Kimberly Toomer (Brandon) of Winterville, NC; her stepchildren, Robbie Jones (Delance Gill) of Elm City, NC and Jennie Gilbert (Lewis) of Nashville, NC; her grandchildren, Cameron Smith, Greyson Smith, Lauren Smith, Zachary Toomer, Gaston King and Jenna King; her great grandchild Wayland Gupton; her sisters, Jeanette Elks of Plymouth, NC and Charlotte Deans (JR) of Macclesfield, NC; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Pollard of Fountain, NC.. She is also survived by her parents, siblings and friends.
She was a member of the Choir, Woman's Auxiliary, served on several committees such as gathering donations for the Harvest Festival, made sunshine baskets and cooked meals for the sick and elderly in the church and her neighbors.
