She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman, Sr. Maynor and Mary Magdlene "Maggie" Maynor; her husband Hilbreth Paul "Doc" Britt, Jr.; her son Stevie Lowery; her siblings, Herman "Buddy" Maynor, Jr., Johnny Maynor, Penny McGee, Jennie Locklear, Jackie Maynor and Sandy Maynor; her grandchildren, Michael Britt, Jr. and Jessica Lowery; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Lowery.

She is survived by : her sons, Jeffery Lowery (Sally Jo), Joel Lowry and Michael Britt (Barbara); her siblings, Mary Godwin, Lennie Seymore (Ed) and Frankie Maynor (Mary Ann); and her grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew, Joshua, Shania and Rachael. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hope Mills Church of God (4830 Cameron Rd, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at the Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery (2881 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, NC 28306).
