We bid farewell to Elder Peggy Lee McLaurin of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 21, 2025 at the age of 70. Elder Peggy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Elder Peggy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elder Peggy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her children, Demetrius, Cheldon, James Jr., Quinton Mclaurin and Yolanda Baskett; and her siblings, Thomas, Troy, Larry, Odell Shaw, Linda Shaw and Rachel Wright. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Mission Church (311 Neville St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
