Georgia Pearl Merritt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Georgia Pearl Merritt of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Georgia leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her children, Georgenna Teresa Jones, Anita Merritt-McNeil (Thaddeus), Angela Merritt-Geter (Jay) and William Henry Merritt Jr. (Lynette); and her siblings, Mary Fennell WIlliamson (Charles), Henrietta Fennell Myers and Angelo Fennell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
