It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Chaivacci Lucas Jr. of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Antoine Lucas and Chanda R. Lucas; his siblings, Oliver Lucas (Ruby), Virginia, Williams, Herman Lucas (Pat), Sherman Lucas (Karen), Wayne B. Lucas (Karen) and Therrell E. Lucas; his stepdaughter Rochelle Glenn (Marvin); and his close friend Ernestine Costin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
