She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Averitte and Jewel Hayes Averitte; her husband Harry Culbreth; her granddaughter Addison Culbreth; and her siblings, Karen Johnson and Kelly Averitte.
She is survived by: her children, Tara Seward (Greg) of Lovettesville, VA and Chris Culbreth (Kristy) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Grayden Culbreth, Bryson Seward, Cole Seward, Elijah Seward and Luke Seward; and her sibling's children, Meredith Southern (Dennis) and Wesley Averitte (Jessica).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (6535 Clinton Rd, Stedman, NC 28391). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (3329 Beard Rd, Eastover, NC 28312).
