She was predeceased by : her father Leander Brewington; and her brother Jeffery Brewington. She is survived by : her mother Della Frances Goins Brewington; her husband William Henderson; her children, Tammy Hales (Bryan), Joe Kulwicki (Melissa) and Heather Wilfong (Dwayne); and her siblings, Brenda Padilla (Art) and Randy Brewington (Barbara). She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services (4721 Dunrobin Dr, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at the Goins Family Cemetery (2028 Fields Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28312).
