With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin John Connolly Jr. (Fayetteville, North Carolina), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin J. Connolly, Sr. and Josephine Fitzgerald Connolly; and his sister Marie Hirst. He is survived by: his sisters, Catherine Willis and Ann Huddleston (Michael); and his brother-in-law Phil Hirst. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a wonderful group of friends and caretakers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Village Baptist Church (906 S McPherson Church Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28303). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
