He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee Lane and Celesta Belle Lane. He is survived by: his sister Ardra Lane Brandon; his daughter Rachel Simmons (Keenan); his grandchildren, Janiyah, Lydia and Mason; his sibling's children, Leah Lane of West Virginia, Shanice White of Selma and Gabriel Leggett of New York; his cousins, Charles Lane, Janice Sharp and Robert Lane; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyla, Harlem and Isaiah; and his close friends, James Elliott, R. Jonathan Charleston and Mark Boney.
