She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jackson Hunter and Sarah Martin; her husband John W. Taylor; and her sisters, Marie Mills and Eva Mae Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, John W. Taylor, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC, Jackson Taylor of Fayetteville, NC and Martin Taylor of Fayetteville, NC; her sister Peggy Mills of Raeford, NC; her grandsons, Solomon, Hudson and Walker; and her niece Anne Marie Blackburn (Jeff) of Baton Rouge, LA..
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden (536 N Eastern Blvd, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
