With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shane Joshua Young (Fayetteville, North Carolina), born in Orlando, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 20. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shane Joshua had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Shane Joshua may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his brother Nathan James Young. He is survived by: his parents, Brian Young and Jill Young of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings, Daniel, Lily and Bethany Young; and his grandparents, Bobby, Kathryn Wilson of Parkton, NC, Larry, Sharon Washburn of Jenks, Oklahoma, Michael and Susan Young of Sanford, NC. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Living Water Church of God (1764 Bingham Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28304). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
