With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Trevor Merritt of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 17. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Trevor find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He is survived by: his parents, Bobbie Griffin and Jamar Merritt; his siblings, Alexander, Dontauious Cunningham, Trinity Griffin, Taylor Griffin and Imani Merritt; and his grandparents, Terri Merritt, Bobby Stevens and Sidney McKay. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lafayette Memorial Park (2301 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025.
