He was predeceased by: his parents, Major James Earl Braxton and Mildred McIntyre Braxton; and his grandparents, Walter, Rebecca Hooks McIntyre, Garfield and Susan Braxton.
He is survived by: his cousins, Ernest G. Broom of High Point, Joseph C. Hill of Navarre, Florida, Desdy H. Paige of Fayetteville, Mohammed Qadir and Barbara M. Malloy of Cheraw.
