It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Marie (McIlvaine) Parsons of Fearrington Village, North Carolina, born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Alice Marie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alice Marie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband George Parsons; her sisters, Eileen Koerner, Joyce Avent and Sarah Bostick; her cousin Mary Catherine Mowery; her daughter Rachel Marie Klemek; and her grandchildren, Peter, Sage, Levi and Deirdre Klemek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Music-Designated Fund at Christ United Methodist Church.
