Anne Comer Morris Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Comer Morris of Fearrington Village, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Anne departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Anne. Though Anne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley Comer and Emily Williams Comer; her brother Murphy Comer; and her sister-in-law Mary Welch Comer. She is survived by: her husband Fred Morris; her children, Montgomery Morris and Lindsay Morris; and her brother Marcus Comer (Joan). She is also survived by friends and new friends.
